Guest House Solive

This is a basic, inexpensive pension right opposite Potimi Beach. The rooms have only the essentials, but the air conditioning works well, although the water pipes and fridge can be noisy. It is a shame because the building is otherwise sheltered from Himare's many bars and lively nightlife. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and the location is good, though the access road needs improvement.

We were five couples visiting in the middle of August, and this family-run place handled everything with the efficiency of a hotel. The rooms and service were clean and comfortable, breakfast and dinner were plentiful, and the terrace was quiet, fresh, and perfect for eating or relaxing. There is underground parking to keep the car cool, although the beach is only a five-minute walk away. A very good price for the service, and highly recommended for families or groups.

The olive trees, lemon trees, and tomatoes growing right beside you are the best part of this guest house. Toni and his staff are exceptionally kind and made everything comfortable and restful. The breakfast is very good, and the barbecue dinner is excellent.

I spent an amazing month here, and Toni runs the place brilliantly. The garden terrace is beautiful and peaceful enough for sitting, working, or eating. The meals were fantastic too. I highly recommend visiting.
