Nefeli's Apartment

The rooms were bright, very clean, and came with great views. The host was friendly too. Just amazing 😍

For anyone arriving by car, the location is ideal. It sits high in the mountains, with wonderful views of the sea, the sunset, and the surrounding mountains, while the setting stays quiet. The apartment was brand new, clean, fresh-smelling, and pleasant, with parking that was easy to access. Leonidhas was present, attentive, helpful, kind, and easy to talk to. I’d love to come back.

This was a spacious, clean apartment with a large bedroom, a very good mattress, and plenty of storage there. The balcony view over the heights of Himare was spectacular. Leonidas was adorable and even gave us shower gel, although it isn’t normally provided here, which was strange because it’s provided elsewhere. The kitchen was poorly equipped for the apartment, with only three place settings, so more utensils are needed. The bottle holder in the fridge was broken, making it impractical. There was also less storage for the single bed, despite that being a large room. The beach was farther away than the 1.2 km, or 0.4, advertised on Booking.com. Summer in Albania remains one of the most expensive times in Himare, €60 per night compared with around €50 elsewhere for three people. Even so, we have very good memories of the place.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the place works well for spending a few nights. The room could use a small closet and some shelves, while the shower has no barrier or shampoo holder. The final part of the road is a little awkward, but it’s still manageable.
