Sofo Hotel

Hotel Sofo near Orikum was a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast had plenty of fresh, delicious choices, and the service was warm and attentive. We felt genuinely welcome and would highly recommend staying here.

Don't overthink the order, get the liver with cucumber and onions. It was one of the best dishes I had during my visit in Albenia. The staff were amazing too.

Sofo restaurante served a really lovely dinner, with great food, fantastic service, and beautiful surroundings. We had salads, goat meat, mince meat with pasta, fried liver, chips, and yogurt, and everything was superb. Their home white wine was very good as well. I highly recommend the place.

Keep driving. I used to make this restaurant in the beautiful Albanian countryside a must-stop whenever I visited Albania, and past visits had good service. This time, two of us sat there for about 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. It was 2 p.m. on a Wednesday and the place wasn't even busy. We finally got a busboy to set the table and bring menus, then waited another 20 minutes while the waiter ignored our attempts to order. The busboy told him we were ready, but still nobody came, so after another 10 minutes we left. Nobody tried to stop us. Someone at the door just shrugged when my husband mentioned the service. We also asked for a manager, but the manager was nowhere to be seen. I saw him telling the waiter to go inside because some people were ready to order, and I guess they were considered special. I had stayed at this hotel and eaten here before, so next time I'll keep driving. Response to the owner: I'm glad I got your attention now rather than while I was actually there. Check your cameras, because you're confusing me with someone else. We were both actively trying to get the waiters' attention, and the waiter never even came close to our table. I also noticed a couple of similar negative comments recently, so I should have read them before wasting my time. Your claim in the response makes things worse. Maybe spend more time managing the restaurant while customers are there and less time answering Google reviews. I hope you treat other customers better than you treated us.
