This cozy, clean family-run place is a little walk from town, but I enjoyed that because it let me explore the city from one end to the other and see how it has developed. The beds were comfortable and the quiet setting suited me well. The family hosts are genuinely kind. Mama welcomes you with Turkish coffee, while papa offers a nice shot of homemade rakija. If the daughter is home, they’re happy to help show you around. Papa also has a farm and can take you into the countryside around this picturesque town.

I loved staying at this small family-run hostel. The warm Albanian hospitality alone makes it worth visiting Korce, so I’d highly recommend coming here.

You really become part of the family at this fantastic hostel. The guests are very kind, and they’ll cook amazing food for you. The owner can also teach you how to distill raki.
