BLISS Hotel

We had a great time staying here on our vacation in Albania last week. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and breakfast was good and plentiful. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

The location in Ksamil is great, the rooms are clean, the morning atmosphere is excellent, and the service is friendly. There’s free parking too. The downsides for me were the lack of a lift and the very small bathrooms.

The evening area is lively, with plenty of restaurants to choose from, and there are several beaches within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Bora Bora Beach is just five minutes away. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Petula in the morning, probably the best I’ve had in years. A young man working there was also very friendly and helpful, though sorry, I forgot his name. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Gloria. She clearly enjoys her job and making guests feel welcome. She was always glad to answer questions and lend a hand, and her positive energy made a big difference. The people, food, and location all made for a wonderful stay. I’d happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ksamil.

I’ve lived abroad for 27 years, and as an Albanian I wanted to write in English for people considering a good hotel. I’ve stayed in many places around Europe, and I know how much people rely on reviews. This year I stayed here and had a fantastic time: the staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and fresh, and breakfast was plentiful and good. I’ll definitely return. I travel a lot with my family and have no personal or financial reason to promote this place. I know what a quality hotel feels like, and this one is among them. As for the one-star ratings saying the food service is poor, the place is dirty, or giving no explanation at all, it’s hard to know whether those reviewers have actually stayed here. It’s a self-service buffet, with no waiters. If someone is going to post such a negative review, they could be asked to show a booking confirmation. It’s a shame to undermine other people’s work over personal preferences. I have my booking and my own experience. What do the others have?
