The large rooms came with big TVs, large refrigerators, and very nice bathrooms. The beds were soft, spacious, and comfortable, and there was a big shared terrace. I booked three rooms for four nights in September at €100 each instead of €119. There were many problems, though. The rooms were very dirty, with no cleaning or fresh towels on the following days, no floor cloths, no duvets, and no robes or hangers in the many closets. Some outlets seemed blocked. Wi-Fi was poor or absent, so the TVs didn’t work. There were burn holes everywhere, some things were unfinished, and the terrace was dirty with chimney soot. It also wasn’t childproof, with gaps in the glass railing. Breakfast service felt unenthusiastic. The cappuccino was cold, and breakfast was limited to an omelet with tomatoes, cucumbers, and cold cuts, plus boiled eggs and pasta. There were no fruit juices. The restaurant was VERY expensive, €10 during COVID-19. It’s a shame, because it’s a great place, but they didn’t seem very motivated to work.
