The Mussel House

The setting is amazing, and our spontaneous lunch turned into a real feast. We had no reservation, and some fresh fish had just arrived in a cooled wagon. Our server presented the fish to us really well. For three adults, we chose a 2 kg fish, which they suggested serving in two courses. First was delicious carpaccio with passion fruit, lemon, olive oil, and salt, then it was grilled and filleted in front of us. Thanks to the whole team for such a culinary highlight!

We had a lovely time at Mussel House. The food was fresh and well prepared, and the views and relaxed atmosphere were great. Freddy, our waiter, was friendly and helpful and kept everything running smoothly. He definitely didn’t ask us to write this review... well, except he kind of did 😄. Worth stopping by if you’re nearby.

What a lovely spot right by the water, with fresh seafood, mussels, and oysters. We had a wonderful birthday evening, and the food and view made it memorable. Our server, Julio, or Julius? Sorry, I can’t remember the spelling, was warm and personable and went out of his way to make things special. After the birthday girl had dropped her phone in the sea earlier that day, he even offered to take it to someone to have it checked. Thank you!

The terrace lunch was lovely, with courteous service, good food, and a view across the lake to the mussel farm. We’re seafood lovers, and stopping here on the drive toward Ksamil turned out to be a great choice. I’d noticed the roadside sign and liked the name. We also love cats, so we enjoyed their company. If cats aren’t your thing, ask for a table inside.
