Villa JIOTA

The owners are friendly and helpful, and run a cafe just down the stairs, which is handy. The newly renovated apartment was very clean, and having free parking in town was a big plus. Beaches and restaurants are all walkable. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working during our stay. There’s also a bar next door that plays music until around midnight, so light sleepers may want good earplugs.

The hosts made me feel at home and went out of their way to help, from suggesting local spots to making sure I had what I needed. The villa is quiet, surrounded by nature, and has plenty of room to relax. My room was spotless, nicely decorated, and very comfortable, with soft linens and a peaceful balcony view. Everything seemed thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. I had an amazing time and would come back in a heartbeat.

The rooms were on the small side, but spotless and cleaned every day. We got a warm welcome, and the staff stayed friendly throughout our visit. Parking was convenient too. Villa Jota is well placed for a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and Ksamil’s lively nightlife. We had a great experience and would recommend it.

Villa Jiota is a lovely family-run hotel, with great service and very lovable people. Beaches, the bus stop for Sarande, and Butrint National Park are all within walking distance, and restaurants and bars surround it in central Ksamil. One thing to know: the open-air cocktail bar next door plays loud music all day, every day, until around midnight. The windows are well insulated, so it shouldn’t cost you too much sleep, but the music is still audible. That’s the only reason I rated the location three stars. It isn’t a quiet spot.
