The meal was good, and it's a nice place to visit, but our experience was spoiled by the smoking policy. People were allowed to smoke in the room where we were seated, so we had to give up our table with a view and move to a corner farther inside. Smoking indoors is forbidden, no matter who the big shot is, and treating customers this way is not acceptable. Restaurant owners in Albania need to understand that guests deserve respect, especially when they've driven so far to eat with friends. This isn't a 5 star experience, and if you dislike smoke, think twice before making the drive in colder weather.

The restaurant was a real highlight, with fresh, bio tasting salad vegetables, homemade flavours, and a big selection of local dishes. We especially liked the scallops with cheese and the baby chick, or rooster, with local handmade pasta. The wine list was impressive too, and we tried more than one. This family run boutique hotel has only 10 rooms, and that atmosphere was easy to feel. The staff were kind and extremely helpful, bringing the extra amenities we asked for right away. The rooms and the rest of the property were clean and well cared for. The views were breathtaking from every side, in the daytime and even more at night. A huge medieval looking horse gate around the parking lot added a nice touch. Since the hotel also hosts events, we watched from a distance as an engagement, a young child's birthday, and a 90 year old grandmother's birthday were celebrated. It's a great location for a quiet holiday in nature, close to cities like Beret and Vlore. This was one of our best stays ever, and we'll definitely visit again soon.

The room and view were excellent, and the white wine was very good. Food was ok, and the service was good apart from one staff member who said breakfast couldn't be served at 10:46. A very polite girl fixed the issue, so we ate there after all. Very nice place, I'd come back.
