The best part of this family owned hotel is its central position, only steps from the main square, local shops, and their homemade gliko ice cream, which became our daily treat. Downstairs, the cafe overlooks the Vjosa and is a lovely place for morning coffee, breakfast, or an afternoon pick me up. Vasil and Arjana were warm, welcoming, and always ready with useful advice about the area. Our room was clean, cosy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. Each breakfast was fresh and homemade, a great start before exploring Përmet and the surrounding nature. Their care shows in all the small details, and we would definitely come back.

The rooms were very nice, and the elevator was cool, but the workers were terrible. Someone at reception couldn't speak English or German, so proper communication wasn't possible. When they refused to give us the change, we collected our things and left.

Right in the city center, this hotel made a great impression. The balcony views were beautiful, the rooms were spotless, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. I also loved the local produce and famouse gliko. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive. A real 5-star stay, and I’d happily return.

The riverfront location is wonderful, with plenty of fresh air and scenery. Our room was very clean, and the breakfast was amazing. The owner and employees were incredibly friendly. If I visit Përmet again, I’ll stay at ALVERO hotel.

Our daughter was especially happy because the owners spoiled her throughout the stay. Even though we arrived very late and the hotel was overbooked, the lovely couple running it welcomed us like family. We enjoyed the visit a lot. Big thanks, faleminderit!
