Adam & Eve Apartment

We were extremely disappointed by how this booking was handled. My friend booked through Agoda for two nights and three days at the end of March because the property photos looked beautiful. We accidentally booked the arrival one day too early, then contacted the host 10 days before the trip to explain that we would still keep the reservation and arrive a day late. Nobody replied. When we arrived, the booking had apparently been marked as a no show, our money was kept, and we were left without accommodation. There was not even the usual booking confirmation or welcome message, just a card charge. Agoda made no real effort to investigate or mediate. The listing says beach front, but the property is actually beside the ferry port gate used by people arriving from Corfu. It is in front of the water, not on a beach, and it isn't a prime location. For the same price, there are places with better views, closer to the main bus station for Ksamil and Butrint, the intercity buses to Gjirokaster and Berat, and the restaurants that are genuinely on the beach. The Albanians we met were kind and helpful, but this experience left a very sour taste. The host was unprofessional in dealing with the problem and unwilling to respond or reach an agreement. Don't be fooled by the pictures.

Although the room was clean, it wasn't very practical. People were constantly walking past the patio, so there was no privacy at all, and I didn't like the location. It also felt far too expensive. Much nicer places with beautiful beaches are available for considerably less.

The apartment is at the quiet end of the promenade, close to Sarande port, and the beach is only a few steps away. Parking can be paid for at the port, while free roadside spaces may be available nearby. Our room was very clean and had good facilities, including a clean toilet. Amazing in every way.

Adam & Eve Suites was an ideal choice before our early ferry to Corfu. The ferry and the Avis rental car drop off were literally only steps away. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, and both check-in and check-out were easy.
