Ami Mar Hotel

The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel had a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the property is in a fantastic location close to the sea. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and happy to help. Ami Mar Hotel is beautifully maintained, and I’d gladly return. I highly recommend it for a comfortable, memorable stay.

The rooms were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the breakfast decent, so the hotel itself was acceptable. My one-star rating is about the booking experience and the lack of trust. We booked directly around 1.5 months ahead and specifically asked for a sea-view suite. Instead, we received a standard room without a view, while being charged the suite price. Photos and videos were attached for transparency. When we complained, we were told that the prices at reception were not updated. We hadn’t negotiated a price, we had simply paid for the higher-end room, and no proper solution was offered. Guests who only want a basic stay may be fine here. But if you’re paying extra for a premium room and service, I can’t recommend this hotel, especially given the clientele it arrogantly claims to serve. A third-party booking site may give you a better guarantee of receiving what you paid for.

The food and cleanliness were top-notch, with breakfast deserving a 10/10 and the seafood linguine at dinner standing out in particular. The hotel is also conveniently located, with everything within walking distance. Since taxis in Albania can be expensive, we appreciated that the hotel’s taxi service was offered at a fair price. A couple of the first rooms we were shown felt too small, but the staff listened patiently and quickly arranged better options. Housekeeping was excellent and respected every request. Alejdo was consistently kind and helpful when we arrived, while Eiden, the hotel taxi driver, was friendly, reliable, and always asked whether we needed anything. Special thanks as well to Jurgen, Mikele, Semi and Arteo. Everyone took great care of us from the beginning, which made this one of our best hotel experiences. I highly recommend it, especially because of the incredible staff. For us, it was a clear 10/10.

Every day we found something tasty and different at breakfast, and the whole family, including our three children, was delighted with the stay. The room was cozy, clean, and nicely decorated, with daily housekeeping. We were especially grateful to the polite, attentive, and friendly staff, who were always ready to help solve any problem. We were very happy here and would gladly return.
