The room was kept neat and fresh every day, and the breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of fresh choices and everything served hot and cooked well. The kitchen team clearly paid attention. I also felt welcome from the minute I arrived. Nalda at reception was especially kind and professional, and made check-in and any requests easy. HB Hotel made for a wonderful stay, and I’d happily come back and recommend it to friends and family.

The safe didn’t work either, and nothing was done about the TV. For two days reception kept saying a technician was on the way and asked us to stay in the room for him. When someone finally arrived, he didn’t seem to know how to fix it. Another man said he’d restart the service for the whole hotel, then left and never returned. We weren’t offered a different room with a working TV or any compensation. The service was awful. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel and its setting are attractive, with lovely views, but the way our problems were handled really let the stay down. After a long trip with our two young children, we found the suite’s air conditioning wasn’t working. We’d unpacked and put the children to bed, then had to pack again and move rooms near midnight, carrying our sleeping three-year-old. What stayed with me was the lack of follow-up. Staff repeatedly said management would be told, and though I asked several times to speak to a manager, nobody got in touch or even acknowledged the inconvenience. One afternoon we also asked to have the room cleaned and were abruptly told cleaning hours were over and no one could help. I understand equipment can fail. For a hotel presented as five-star, I expected better communication, accountability, and care when something goes wrong. The lack of response, more than the initial fault, left a lasting impression.

The outdoor pool was spotless, and I loved the comfortable bed, good sheets, and air-conditioning. My daughter and I stayed here in September 2025 and had a magnificent time. The hotel is well placed for walking to the promenade and the restaurants. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff were attentive throughout. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide mix of Mediterranean and European food. I’ll definitely come back.
