Joan Guesthouse gave me a lovely stay. My room was very clean, well equipped, and had ac. The hosts were warm and welcoming, with a genuinely homey feel. Breakfast was amazing, with the biggest buffet I’ve ever seen in Albania and plenty of local products to try.

Breakfast was a real treat, with lots of choices and different flavors. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and very clean, and the friendly, attentive hosts provided exceptional service. It was a great experience overall, and I’d truly recommend it.

The breakfast was rich, especially with all the homemade jams. On the second day, they also served vegan Petulla, which made for a full Albanian breakfast experience. We enjoyed our 2 days at Joan Guesthouse, found the guests very welcoming, and would definitely return to Përmet.

It’s close to the center but set in a very quiet neighborhood. The rooms were clean and very nice, the owners were incredibly lovely, and the Albanian breakfast was great. We had a wonderful stay. For parking, there are a few spaces on the property, though street parking was also no problem in September 2023.

The garden was beautiful, full of flowers even in August, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean, with nice facilities, while the quiet street kept us away from car and bar noise. Breakfast was okay, offering several jams, fried eggs, butter, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a fantastic homemade cake. The villa felt welcoming, just like the hosts Ilir and Mirela. I’d highly recommend it, and hope the hosts keep up their fantastic work.
