The staff were extremely rude.

I really don't understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The rooms are attractively furnished, but they felt unfinished in places, with a loose electrical wire in the bathroom, for example. Ours was also too small for the large bed. The hotel sits above the attached restaurant, and the reception is a makeshift setup in a small side room. We were charged slightly more than the price shown on Booking.com. There were no pillows, water glasses, or anything similar in the room. We found hairs and trash from previous guests, loose sink faucets, a very heavy bathroom door, and a small towel inexplicably stuck in the air conditioner. The bathroom motion sensor was badly calibrated, turning the light off after about three seconds, while the noisy fan kept switching on and off overnight. Soundproofing was poor, and construction noise woke us early. The staff were not attentive or polite either. Breakfast was acceptable, though the food, especially the scrambled eggs, was greasy. Coffee cost extra and had to be paid for separately in cash. We had no LEK yet, so we paid in Euros, making a cappuccino €2.50 instead of 150 LEK, about €1.50. I can't recommend this hotel.

The modern furniture was one of the better aspects, but some rooms seemed unfinished and unclean, with no pillows being a particularly strange omission. The ventilation was noisy, the bathroom light kept switching off, and morning noise woke us up. Staff came across as unfriendly, and there were payment discrepancies. Breakfast was greasy, coffee wasn't included, and it could only be paid for in cash. Disappointing, and not recommended.

The lake view from the room was a wonderful extra, and breakfast offered plenty of tasty variety. I found the room immaculate and welcoming, while the staff were both professional and friendly. I was very pleased with the quality of the service and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an exceptional stay.
