The Modern Pad in Shkod r

We’d recommend this place. The room was modern and lovely, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. The staff were friendly, but getting into the building and finding the small reception desk was confusing. We hadn’t been told how to enter or where to go upstairs, and ended up pressing the doorbell before the door unlocked. The staff said they already knew about the problem and were working on it, though a simple message before check-in would have solved it.

The convenient location was a real highlight, and the hotel felt warm and comfortable thanks to its lovely décor. Everything was exceptionally clean. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which made us feel at home. Highly recommended.

The room itself was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the location was good, but several problems seriously affected our stay at A Gallery. We stayed two nights in two rooms as a group of four. The hot water wasn’t enough for two showers, and there was an unpleasant gas-like smell in our room that gave my partner headaches. We were also given only one set of building keys for both rooms because there supposedly weren’t any more. The biggest issue was the door lock. The key card failed repeatedly, and at 10PM we had to call for help. The woman who came said that door had problems with every guest. Since it was a known fault, we wondered why it hadn’t been repaired or replaced. We raised everything again at checkout and were offered only €20 in compensation.

This cosy hotel is within walking distance of the centre, and our room was impressively spacious. The service was kind throughout our stay. My family and I had a great time and will definitely come back.
