Guesthouse Pension Andrea

I booked this place for two months and got scabies. The room gets no sunlight, and the window won’t close. The only table and chairs are uneven plastic, so trying to work on them is a challenge. They rent to guests with pets but are very afraid of dogs, so my dogs had to stay locked in the tiny room all day, even though I booked it because of the patio. When my plans changed, they wouldn’t refund the unused portion. The interior seems not to have been updated in about 30 years, apart from the bathroom, and the hot water doesn’t last through a decent shower. Someone kept entering my room while I was out, turning off the water heater and opening the bathroom window even when it was freezing outside. This place isn’t worth what they charge. If you want scabies, go there.

We had a lovely week here. Anglika was often on site if we had questions, and she brought us fresh towels halfway through the week. The hosts were very friendly, and both the room and common areas were clean. The kitchen came in handy, with a microwave, kettle, hob, and fridge. A large mall with a Conad supermarket is only a five-minute walk away, and the main square is another five minutes beyond that.

The room was dull, dirty, cold, and only 10m2, with no window and a cigarette smell. There wasn’t hot water around the clock. It was the worst experience of my life. I’ll never go there again.

We were welcomed very warmly by a charming young lady, and the room was large and very clean. It’s a quiet area near the city center, and the price is very affordable. I’d definitely go back if I get the chance. The only negative is that there’s no air conditioning.
