Our room was spacious and cleaned whenever we stepped out, and the bathroom was our favourite spot: generous in size, spotless, and sleek and modern. We also loved the large balcony, though it overlooked an older, rundown building, which affected privacy and sometimes meant we had to keep the curtains closed. Hotel Elisa is right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of restaurants and key attractions. Even on a main road, the street was surprisingly quiet, with no noticeable noise, and the area felt safe throughout our stay. The hotel is beautiful, and the festive decorations added charm. Everyone, from reception and security to housekeeping and the kitchen, was warm, friendly, and ready to help. Valet parking was efficient, with our car parked and brought back within minutes. Breakfast was good quality, though the options were simple and somewhat repetitive. All guests also get a complimentary one-hour spa session, which was a lovely bonus. I’d happily return to Tirana and recommend Hotel Elisa.

Gersi, the waiter who looked after us throughout the stay, deserves special mention. He was professional, kind, attentive to detail, and always made sure we had what we needed. The hotel was welcoming and calm, with spotless, comfortable, well-maintained rooms and an ideal location. I had an exceptional stay, highly recommend it, and would be delighted to return ✨🤍😊

The rooms and shared spaces stayed spotless and comfortable, thanks to the cleaners’ careful work. I also appreciated the kitchen team’s effort; the meals were enjoyable. Most of all, Ella, Gersi, Marcel, and Yoana were professional, kind, and attentive, always ready to help with a real smile. My stay at Hotel Elisa Tirana was wonderful, and everyone made it memorable. I’d gladly come back. Thank you all.

The spa and massage were the main reason we chose this hotel, so that part was the biggest letdown. We had specifically requested a massage, but the reservation hadn’t been made correctly. When we arrived for the appointment, staff said there had been a “confusion” with the booking, and the spa staff came across as a little unprofessional. Elsewhere, the hotel was very clean, and reception and room service staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a bit outside the very center, though getting to the main sights is easy. Our room felt cramped, but the bathroom was spacious. For the higher price, I expected more. We got just one bottle of water in the room, while places I stayed at elsewhere in Albania in 2023 and 2025, including cheaper ones, gave two a day. The separate old-style bidet also felt dated compared with the handheld sprays I’ve seen in most newer hotels.

I stayed five nights, from 4-9 Feb, and the upgrade communication was all over the place. At check-in I was told there was no upgrade, but one would be arranged the next day. On the morning shift of 5 Feb, staff said the manager had confirmed a suite upgrade and asked me to come back that evening to change rooms. When I did, they said there was no availability. The explanations kept changing. On 7 Feb I showed staff that a suite was listed as available on the hotel’s own website, but the evening shift blamed housekeeping constraints and said they couldn’t make the upgrade happen. I understand upgrades depend on availability, but it looked like rooms were available and the problem was internal operations. As a returning guest and Melia Gold member, I missed out on the loyalty benefit, and the communication was very inconsistent.
