Hotel Viktoria Tirana

We had a lovely view of the mountains on the other side of the city from our room, and the family room wasn’t too expensive. The room was modern and very clean, the bathroom had a new design and was clean too, and the air conditioning cooled the room quickly. The cleaning staff were always friendly and helpful. We were welcomed warmly as usual, and check-in went smoothly. The breakfast had a great variety, and the waitress was really helpful and kind.

We stopped for one night while traveling along the highway. The hotel seems renovated, but it has an old smell. It’s fairly far from the highway, so with the window open you only hear distant noise. The room had air conditioning and a big bed. The manager didn’t speak English, so we had to talk on the phone with someone else to agree on everything. Although there seems to be a restaurant, no meals are offered, so we had to find breakfast elsewhere. There’s a terminal, but card payment isn’t possible. The manager also wasn’t eager to return my change, and I had to persist to get it.

The room and bathroom were very neat, clean, and comfortable. What more do you need? The elderly man at reception didn’t speak English, but he was very kind.

A really cozy place to unwind for a couple of days, with lovely views right next to Tirana. The bus takes 10 minutes. The breakfast is awesome. It’s fantastic!
