Mosaic Home - Hostel

I checked the reviews before booking, and they turned out to be right. The reception team were warm and kind, and the place felt safe, with lovely views. Breakfast costs just 2 euros and has plenty to choose from. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The rooms offer almost no privacy, and the place is extremely noisy with little regard for guests trying to rest. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful when I raised health concerns, and refused to accommodate any of my requests. For what they charge, there’s very little value. I’d stayed in Saranda before, and the difference in quality and service for similar money was shocking. The facilities don’t justify the price. I wouldn’t recommend it, since there are much better options in the same price range.

Amazingly helpful service. They answer right away, stay flexible, and do what they can to meet your needs even at short notice. The accommodation is very affordable, centrally located near the square, and well connected to the main stations. Faleminderit.

The place looked much more worn down in person than in its old advertised photos, and the bathrooms were in very poor shape. Cleanliness was practically nonexistent. I tried breakfast, and the woman cooking often touched her armpits and private parts, with no apparent hygiene. There were awful, strange smells, and I ended up sharing with very strange people. The doors had no locks, so there was little privacy. Probably one of the worst places I’ve stayed. Unless you’re in an emergency, I wouldn’t recommend it.
