Oxford Hotel

The hotel is close to everything, and breakfast was decent. At first they couldn’t find our reservation and said they were full, but they managed to sort it out. There was quite a bit of dust on the floor in our room, probably missed while they moved the beds together. I asked reception for a broom, and they came straight away and swept it themselves. The staff were friendly, especially in the breakfast hall.

We had a great one night stay. The employees were kind and attentive, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. It’s right in the center, which is convenient but did make it a little loud. If noise doesn’t bother you, it’s a good place to stay. There’s a very small parking lot, but it can surprisingly fit quite a lot of cars.

The rooms were large and comfortable, and the hotel is right in the city center, set back from the main road enough that it wasn’t noisy. In the morning, though, the patio doors were open and smoke from people smoking drifted into the hotel. Thankfully breakfast is on the sixth floor, not in the lobby coffee bar. A few vegan choices at breakfast would be appreciated. It looked like there were only five parking spots, so plan ahead if you’re driving.

The breakfasts were simple, but had a nice homemade feel, and I had no complaints. The location is amazing, and the staff were helpful and really nice throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, pretty much what you’d expect, though some furniture may be a bit dated. Great value for the price, I’d come back.
