Victoria Hotel

I spent seven nights at Hotel Victoria in Tirana, and it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless every day, the breakfast was tasty, and there was enough to meet my needs, though the choices didn’t vary much from one day to the next. Special credit to the chef, who was talented and happy to personalize dishes just how you like them. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, and surprisingly professional without being stiff. It feels like a place run by people who enjoy their work, with warm hospitality and great service and food. I’ll absolutely be back.

We had a peaceful stay in a convenient location, close to everything. The room had a stunning view and was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh products. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a warm smile and great kindness. The staff were always available and attentive. We’ll definitely come back and highly recommend the hotel.

We got lucky with this hotel. Our Airbnb was cancelled while we were in the air, so we arrived without a reservation in the middle of the night and randomly chose somewhere near our location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We saw two rooms because we had to move after the first day due to a misunderstanding about the length of our stay, which was our fault, not the hotel’s. Both were big, very clean, and in good condition. The rooms had a small fridge, windows that opened fully, and real shutters that made them properly dark. Breakfast had a small selection but good quality, and the breakfast staff were lovely too. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the city center, easy to find since the hotel’s street ends there. Lots of food places, coffee shops, and other stores are right nearby. The cheesecake at the bakery four doors down is worth a look. There’s hotel-owned parking behind the building. The only downside is the main street location, with the hospital emergency entrance across the road. The windows block sound well, but you can still hear the occasional ambulance during the day. It didn’t bother us, and it’s quiet at night for a busy city street. Great value, with large clean rooms, helpful staff, and private parking, though it can be a bit noisy.

The hotel was one of the best parts of our time in Tirana. It’s a 20-minute walk from the city center, and there’s also a bus stop right in front. A big thank you to the receptionist, who was truly special and helped make our trip special too. The chef prepared breakfast with care, and the cleaning lady kept our room so clean and organized.
