Vila Alizee Hotel

The restaurant had a rich, delicious menu, and every meal felt like a treat. I also found the location ideal, close to the main attractions. From the moment we arrived at reception, service was quick and very friendly, with staff paying attention to the details and making our stay pleasant. Our room was clean, modern, and spacious, with lovely views from the windows. The bed was just right, and all the appliances worked without any problems. This hotel in the Heart of Tirana exceeded my expectations, and I'd happily return.

Hotel Alizee was a lovely stay, and the welcome from the moment I arrived made it memorable. The staff were friendly and helpful, with great local tips. I liked the cozy, well-designed room and its modern amenities, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It's very close to the city center. I'd love to come back.

They gave me a Coke and water, then the guy on the phone asked, “What else do you want?” I wanted them to ask before coming into my room to clean it. They said they clean rooms every day, and did mine while I was out getting money to extend my stay. They'd also assumed the change I left in the room was a tip. I tried offering the maid a 500 to show that if they wanted a tip, they could ask. Thankfully she refused, because I couldn't be Tirana's unlimited ATM. That night I moved to another hotel. It wasted my time and money, since I had to pay double and get another taxi. I think Booking.com has a high rating for this place because they cancel your reservation so you can't leave them a review.

The location made things easy. A busy strip with restaurants, cafés, bars, ATMs, currency exchange places, and mini supermarkets was only a 5-10 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the Wi-Fi in the room was incredible. It also had a TV with YouTube and Netflix, handy when it was too hot to go outside. The AC cooled the room in minutes, and the cleaners kept it spotless whenever we asked, even after we'd made a mess on a night out. One odd thing: my fiancée had paid extra for a golf course view, but there's no golf course anywhere nearby. We didn't mind too much because it was a lovely little place to stay in Tirana.
