The young girl was the only staff member who seemed willing to help. Everyone else was uncooperative, and the large, intimidating woman, who we think was the owner or a relative, shouted at us to “shut your mouth,” “be quiet,” and “sit down.” We had chosen this empty restaurant because we were tired and hungry and wanted a quick meal. The food was abysmal, well below average. At the payment counter they aggressively refused our credit card and told us to get cash from an ATM. For more than 30 minutes, they pushed us to pay cash or accept a ridiculous card commission, and demanded a photocopy of our ID, supposedly as a card requirement. We explained that copying it would violate our personal data rights and that we would only show it, but they kept pressuring us. Eventually we raised our voices and insisted they call the police. They backed down and charged the card without a commission or an ID copy. It was a horrific, intimidating experience, with staff showing disregard for the law and basic customer rights. Find somewhere else to eat.

I had to find another hotel at the last minute, which was stressful and completely disappointing. I had booked a specific room through a Whatsapp number, but when I arrived they said it wasn't available and wanted me to stay in a different room “just for one night,” claiming my actual room would be free the next day. I didn't agree to that. The whole experience felt unacceptable and very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The restaurant food was amazing, and the owners were so nice. I stayed for 10 days and was really impressed with the service and communication. The place was clean too. I suggest everyone go and try it.

Being so close to the beach meant we could feel the breeze at night, which added a lovely touch. I was very happy with my stay in a deluxe room on the second floor of Kompleksi Royal, a four-floor hotel. It's new, modern, beautiful and clean, with plenty of space, a stunning bathroom and a spectacular view. I chose the included breakfast and thought it was very good. I also liked that it wasn't a buffet, since that felt more hygienic than places where children might pick at the food. I'll definitely come back. Highly recommended!
