Belvedere Hotel & SPA

Breakfast had a fresh, varied selection, from fruit and pastries to eggs and local specialties, and the buffet was kept well stocked and nicely presented. The terrace made it even better: a lovely sea view, a gentle breeze, and a relaxed start to the morning.

The service was very good, and breakfast was too. We liked the location: past the end of the main boulevard, it was quiet, with a private beach. Our room was large, comfortable, and beautiful.

The view from the window was gorgeous, and the breakfasts were lovely. We stayed for nine days, and the hotel itself is nice, but it didn’t quite feel worth the price compared with other hotels. The cleaners were polite, though the work wasn’t always thorough. They didn’t replace the broken slippers or leave spare toilet paper, and when we ran out of napkins, none were brought. Shampoo wasn’t replenished either. We had to ask for the safe, and there was only one robe. We also had to go downstairs to get an iron, and washing clothes wasn’t available to us. Only one woman at reception was especially friendly and attentive. The private beach is really only suitable if you can swim. Otherwise, you can just sunbathe. It was good, but not great.

The balcony had a fantastic sea view, and the rooms were large and luxurious, with a spacious bathroom. The staff were very accommodating and the service was great. There’s a lovely beach with crystal-clear water, good restaurants nearby, and a rooftop bar for unwinding. The beach area was quiet and organized, with spaced-out beds.
