Hotel Alpin

The building is charming, the mountain setting is beautiful, and the receptionist gave us an early check-in with genuine warmth. At first, our top-floor suite and balcony felt like a real treat. Unfortunately, the stay didn’t match the 4-star standard Google had led us to expect. The bathroom lock was broken until the second evening, WiFi in the suite was unreliable despite the modem being outside, and the room wasn’t cleaned during our two nights. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room, and the heavy comforters made sleeping uncomfortable. We also skipped hotel dining after the Trileçe dessert on the first night had a strong egg smell. Breakfast was limited, although the kind cook made excellent omelettes. The receptionist and cook were attentive and helpful, while much of the remaining staff seemed absent and disengaged. Better maintenance and service could bring the place up to its charming appearance, but currently it doesn’t feel like a true 4-star stay.

The location is great, but I wouldn’t stay here again. Although the bed was large, the room was unbearably hot, and insects meant the window couldn’t be opened, so I barely slept. The sofa bed also had dirt and long black hairs on it. Some staff were friendly and helpful, but the breakfast staff seemed to ignore us. Noise from other guests during the night made things worse.

Hotel Alpin was a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Jona, Aleksander and Ilir were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We had an amazing stay and would recommend it.

The food was great, and the service was fantastic. We had lunch outside, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Thank you.
