Mahoro Boutique Hotel

The rooftop pool was a nice feature, and we noticed the breakfast selection had improved by our last day. But for the price and a 4-star rating, the hotel still has a lot to address. It was relatively new and under construction, with workers around the premises, which took away from the experience. We booked a larger room with a sofa, but got a much smaller one without a sofa or storage. Staff said they assigned whatever rooms were available, which wasn't acceptable given what we reserved on the website. Housekeeping came only every two days, and during the last part of our nine-day stay the room went untouched for four days. The bedding wasn't changed at all, and we often had to ask for shower gel and towels because they were missed. Staff responses when we asked for refills were unprofessional. There's no hotel bar or poolside bar, so getting a drink meant choosing from a few cans or bottles in the small fridge by the breakfast bar. We tried breakfast twice early in our stay, but the selection was very limited, with cold sausages and eggs, so we ate in town for most of the visit. At this price, there is considerable room for improvement. For a true 4-star experience, I'd consider other accommodation.

We booked at the last minute for my family after the booking.com reservation didn't work for some reason. The woman at the hotel was super helpful, showed us around, and sorted out the booking. Everything was great, from the pool and breakfast to our excellent room, and the place was spotless. There is renovation work happening, but seeing what's been done so far, I think it will be fabulous once it's all finished. I'll definitely be back in Vlore to see how it turns out.

Right in front of the beach, with a pool they kept really clean. The hotel was fantastic for the price, and the staff were kind with very good service. Breakfast was good too. 10/10 experience.

The room felt fresh and modern, and the pool area was fantastic. Great location, very good breakfast, and excellent service. We'll definitely come back!
