Monte Mare Hotel

The hotel is very clean, in an amazing location, and the staff are polite and nice. Breakfast was the big letdown. It wasn’t a buffet and was tiny and very poor: one egg per person, or two at most if you ask, a few bits of cucumber, tomato and olives, a little cheese, bread, and sometimes one small cremewurst.

Everything felt new since the hotel itself is new, and it was super clean and comfortable. Free parking is a real plus in Vlore, where spaces are hard to find and pricey during the season. Great for a holiday with friends or family.

A peaceful, quiet boutique hotel just outside Vlore, with a lovely setting and pool. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly. Recommended.

We visited in Dec 2022, and the hotel is a walkable 5-10 minutes from Vlore beach and the pubs and restaurants area. There’s plenty of free parking, and our two-bedroom apartment was spacious, with a nice balcony where we could sit and have coffee. The staff were great and very supportive. Room facilities are basic: there’s no phone, so you have to go to reception for help, and our toilet had no exhaust fan, which made it stuffy. There’s no restaurant operating at the property, just breakfast with a fixed menu. Check the actual location with the hotel before going, because Google Map is misleading. It’s a bit inside and the road isn’t paved, though it’s reachable and there are signboards.
