After a couple of weeks staying in quite cheap apartments because we’re young, we were exhausted and decided to spend more on this hotel room. We were really disappointed. We arrived in the evening hoping to shower and relax, but at 7 pm they said they still hadn’t finished and would bring toilet paper and clean towels in 10 minutes. We waited, and after 30 minutes my friend wanted to shower, but nothing had arrived. When she asked for fresh towels, they said they’d only just started the washing machine and gave us wet ones. Another half hour later, we had to go ask for toilet paper ourselves. No fresh towels ever came, not even by morning. We didn’t have a sea view, the TV barely worked, and the soap dispenser was empty. At breakfast we heard other girls complaining about the exact same things. I’ve read the positive reviews, so maybe other people have a different experience, but we’re glad to be in another apartment now with clean, dry towels and toilet paper.

It’s a decent place if all you need is breakfast and somewhere to sleep. But right now, without a car there’s nothing to do, since all the interesting places are far away and walking around isn’t an option. If you’re thinking of staying here, be clear about what you plan to do.

The hotel is clean and well managed, and the staff are professional, friendly, and kind. The reception staff, especially Jola and alleviate, stood out. It’s an amazing place, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the south of Albania.
