The hotel itself is nice, and breakfast and the location were okay. But the area behind it looks like a dump, and the spa still hasn’t been finished after seven years. We stayed here seven years ago and had been looking forward to coming back. We had a double room then, which may be why it was quieter. The room doors let through so much sound that comfort dropped a lot, especially at night.

It’s about a five-minute walk to the beach and city center, and the price was great as long as you don’t mind that walk. Hotel Palace Vlore worked very well as a place to stay while visiting Vlore. The marble-decorated four-star hotel is in the heart of Vlore, Albania. It has modern rooms with plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. There’s also a restaurant and bar. The staff were friendly and attentive, with excellent service.

On our eight-day tour of Albania, this was the only breakfast I didn’t enjoy. The room felt sparse and cold, and there wasn’t a single English-language TV channel. I wouldn’t come back.

The rooms are average and the place seems quite new, but the service was terrible, and breakfast wasn’t good either. It’s far too expensive for what you get. I wouldn’t bother staying here.
