Dilijani Tun

The rooms are thoughtfully designed, with lovely views over a tree-filled courtyard, though the grounds felt much more enclosed and smaller than I expected from the photos. There’s a lot of potential here, but the service needs more consistency and attention to detail. The hotel needs a manager who cares about both the place and the team. The landscaped pool is lovely, and the sauna is a welcome addition, but there were no instructions and the staff didn’t seem to know how it worked, including the timer switch. Outside the main desk, staff were hard to find. The reception team were pleasant, but their knowledge was inconsistent. Even with an impressive bar, there was little visible staff presence. Breakfast was good, though it would help to have a chef in the middle of the island to explain the options and take orders. Getting two fried eggs took five requests and twenty minutes. On our second day a chef was there, and the service was much more diligent. Dinner was a mixed bag. The main courses were excellent and the chefs clearly know what they’re doing, but on our second night the four front-of-house staff didn’t clear our plates, even though there were only two of us, or ask how the food was. After waiting half an hour following dessert, we gave up and went to the hotel lounge. We still recommend the hotel highly, but the front-of-house team needs better training and management.

This wasn’t a good venue for an event for us. Items we brought for the celebration came back damaged, and staff responded dismissively instead of helping. The food fell short, particularly the salads and desserts, and service felt hurried, with plates cleared without considering whether guests were finished. It was a very disappointing experience overall.

The pool and outdoor bar were a real highlight. The water was clean, large, and a comfortable temperature for the weather, with plenty of floats to use. The poolside atmosphere was great, and the bar food was surprisingly good, especially the cheeseburger, which was incredible. Our rooms were spacious, very clean, and tidy, with lots of amenities and a cozy feel that mixed modern design with traditional touches. We had great views from every room. The hotel’s friendly, welcoming staff added to the experience. We hadn’t expected this in a smaller town like Dilijan, but this is the best hotel I’ve visited in Armenia. I’ll definitely return to Dilijan just for this place!

The rooms were spacious and spotless, and their cozy style blends modern touches with tradition. The staff were all so warm and friendly, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. I especially loved the big pool and the bar’s amazing cheeseburgers. If you’re visiting Dilijan, you really have to stay here!
