The mountain view was great, and there’s plenty of parking for cars. My room was clean and comfortable, with no noise. There’s WiFi, too. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, but the weather wasn’t very hot, so I didn’t need it. My first time staying at Goris hotel, and it was amazing.

It was hard to sleep because the place was so noisy. Some guests kept making noise well past midnight, leaving others disturbed and uncomfortable. Sofas in the corridor seemed to invite people to sit and gather there, which added to the noise, especially late at night.

The room had been nicely refurbished, with a great view, and the breakfast was good. Reception was very friendly, too. The restaurant was another story: both at night and in the morning, the cooks ate in the dining room, talked loudly, and seemed uninterested in guests or their comfort. It felt like the restaurant needed a manager.

I was surprised that smoking was allowed inside the hotel. It’s currently being renovated, and I can only imagine what it was like before. I struggled to get dinner because I couldn’t communicate with the restaurant staff. The rooms are a bit cramped, and one of the lifts barely had room for a person and a bag before it actually stopped working.
