I've stayed here three times now. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the meals are very tasty. Some rooms near the street can be a little noisy. Maybe there'll be a swimming pool next time!

I ended up at Gyumri Hotel because the other hotels were fully booked, and the location is a little far from the center. The regular room was too small for two people, so I chose the best room for 30k drams, including breakfast. It was large enough, but the bathroom's jacuzzi leaked across the floor. After it was filled, the hot water cut off, and I had to ask reception twice to fix it. There were no garbage cans, and the AC wasn't working properly 😒. The furniture was ordinary and a little old, service was below average, and breakfast was simple and normal. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone 😕.

The room and cleanliness were standard for the price, but the rest made for a truly disappointing stay. They wouldn't accept card payments, and the receptionist barely spoke English. The restaurant was closed at 20:00 on Friday, and breakfast had a very uninteresting selection. When I asked how to get to Georgia, only 45 km away, the receptionist couldn't offer any information beyond taking a taxi.

The hotel's in a good location, and the service wasn't bad. What I didn't like was how small the toilets were. Once you shower, the whole bathroom gets wet.
