Hagvi Resort Guest House

We came here for a hike, and the experience was hard to put into words. The views, mountains, greenery, and calm air make it feel like the rest of the world is far away. Hagvi Resort is somewhere you’ll want to linger. The homemade food was full of care and tasted wonderful, and the people were kind and welcoming. A simple, comfortable place to enjoy nature and a sense of Armenia.

I stumbled across this guesthouse on a map and was glad I did. There’s a lovely courtyard, clean and tidy rooms, a roomy shared kitchen, tasty breakfast, parking, and beautiful nature all around. The host made us feel welcome. Getting there without a car can be difficult, and there aren’t any shops nearby, so you need to bring what you’ll need. That comes with the remote location, though, and didn’t put me off.

Lori seemed to be waking up while I was there, and the place felt completely unique and impressive to me. Hagvi is a small, lovely village, with residents who are so hospitable. I had a hard-to-explain sense of peace during my stay.

We were amazed by the guesthouse and the surrounding nature. It’s a striking place, and the peace there is hard to describe.
