A lovely, clean place, and a fantastic host who was friendly and helpful.

Such a nice place!

We stayed in mid-December and the room was warm, with hot water all the time. We even had to open the windows sometimes. Extra blankets and pillows were provided. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully furnished: two adult beds, a bunk bed for children, a table, two armchairs, a fridge, and a TV. We were delighted to find checkers and backgammon there too. In the shared hallway, there’s a table with cups, a kettle, coffee, tea, and other tea things, so you can have a drink in your room or at the communal table. Hovhannes and Svetlana greeted us warmly, showed us around, and explained how everything worked. They also gave us a short tour of the city and tips on where to go and when. Svetlana served a delicious Armenian breakfast, with homemade bread, cottage cheese, cheese, and jam. The location is convenient, near the central square, with the Kecharis monastery complex nearby. The cable car is 1.5 km away, and a one-way taxi costs about 1,000 drams. There’s a small shop across the street for basics like water and cigarettes. If you’re thinking of visiting Tsaghkadzor, go visit them instead of choosing a hotel. They’ll give you a taste of Armenian hospitality.

Hovhannes and Svetlana are such welcoming, pleasant hosts. The guesthouse is lovely, with a cozy, warm room and a shower with good hot water pressure. There’s parking in the courtyard, and the location is excellent, right in the center of Tsaghkadzor. I highly recommend it!
