We had a lovely stay, and getting around by public transport was easy and fun. The walk into the city had fresh air, too. The building is quite old, but the hostel is really affordable for people touring and visiting. They treated us very well. If you have time, try learning some of their language to make communication easier. Thankfully, the boss speaks English and made things easy for us. Breakfast was free while we were there, which was a nice experience. On our first day, she offered wine with breakfast, saying it was very good. I don’t drink, so my friend had my share 😊.

It’s a much cheaper place to stay than the other options. The old Soviet dormitory has been renovated and is cleaner now, though the bar is still the same.

I left after 5 days instead of staying the planned 30, and it was the worst experience ever. They said breakfast was available, but there was nothing. The elevator worked only one day, so with my room on the 8th floor I had to use the stairs every day. Airport transport was also advertised, but nothing was provided. The people didn’t speak English at all. Really disappointing.
