I was stuck with this hotel because it came with my airline package, so changing wasn't an option. The room was just okay, with some loose paint on the walls. Ours was a standard room with no window, though I can't say whether every room is like that. The pillows and bedding smelled like they'd been shut in drawers for ages. You have to ask reception for toothbrushes and slippers, and they don't provide free water. The receptionist said I had to buy it from them, though luckily there was a convenience store on the main road outside. The lack of a kettle really bothered me. When I asked for a coffee cup and hot water early in the morning, staff told me to wait until breakfast at 8am. Breakfast was the same every day and the food was cold, with no warmers. There was enough for coffee and bread, that's about it. Most of the staff were rude, although one receptionist did look after us properly. I didn't expect a hotel rated four stars to miss such basic services.

The rooms were comfortable and convenient, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. I was there with friends, and the kind welcome from the reception staff made the visit even nicer. We had a wonderful time.

Those two windows are what I remember most from my stay of over two months at "Bass Boutique Hotel". One caught the morning light and looked east toward the sunrise; the other faced the sunset, which I could watch disappear each evening. It was a cozy, peaceful place, with very kind staff who made me feel at home from the first days. Everything stayed clean and comfortable, and for the price it went far beyond what I expected. I'll never forget my time there.

Breakfast was awful, low quality, and getting bread meant standing in a long line. The staff weren't helpful and ignored questions. The room was freezing, and there were no extra blankets. It was poorly laid out, with a tiny high window and no view, plus a very low bathroom ceiling. There was no fridge, kettle, slippers, or tissues. The comfort, service, and facilities made this a terrible stay. I wouldn't go back.

The cellar is beautiful, almost like a medieval castle, and a lovely spot for gatherings. There's also a free hour of sauna each day. The hotel is well kept and serves a delicious breakfast. I'd give it five stars.
