Hotel Carat Yerevan

The staff were friendly and helped with our bags both when we arrived and when we checked out. They also helped us plan things around the city. We stayed in September 2025 for a week and had a good time, with daily breakfast and a sauna. The spa was elegantly designed, and the gym came in very handy during our stay.

My leg got badly burned by two holes in the Turkish bath that were placed very poorly, and it affected the rest of my ski trip. The basement rooms are small and have no windows.

The funniest part was finding the toilet seat broken, practically biting my buttocks. At checkout, I asked for help with my luggage, but the head of cleaning resisted calling anyone. Even though they saw me coming out with my bags, I had to ask verbally for someone to come help. The room had a water leak, and the hot water wasn’t consistent. The restaurant food was poor, and breakfast was quite expensive. This place might work for one night, but given the high nightly price, I’d strongly suggest looking for a more reasonably priced hotel. I was too kind giving them three stars.

The staff made the stay a positive one, especially Natalie, who was incredibly kind and helpful. We did have some bathroom issues. The location was excellent, just a three-minute walk from the Cascade Complex.
