The host was kind and explained everything clearly, and the bathrooms worked fine for what we needed, though they weren’t the cleanest. We stayed for two nights. It’s a cheap hostel, and I doubt you’ll find many places with private rooms for this price. Getting into town is quick and inexpensive by Yandex taxi, since the hostel is quite far from the city centre. Our room was beside the metal front door, which bangs noisily when people come back late and can wake you up. Other guests were inconsiderate too, playing loud music and smoking just outside our window late at night. In that room, you hear every move people make. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, but it’s absolutely fine for a night or two if you’re on a budget.

It really felt like being at home, and the rooms were so clean. The breakfast was amazing. There are several great restaurants and shops nearby, including SAS food court and Yerevan city, so there’s no need to go to the city center. I’d really recommend this hostel to my Iranian and Australian friends. Enjoy your time in Yerevan!
