Silk Road Hotel

We meant to spend just the first evening in the garden for a glass of wine, but ended up staying there all night. The wine was very tasty, the lavash chips delicious, and the waiter so obliging. The hotel staff were friendly, courteous, helpful, and keen to share information. The garden is wonderful, with at least a partial view of Mount Ararat, and the hotel sits in the upper part of Yerevan. Inside, it feels like a caravanserai, with handcrafted and artistic items reminiscent of the Silk Road for sale in the lobby. We wished we could have stayed longer, but couldn't. Silk Road Hotel is on our list for our next trip to Armenia 😃

The garden and restaurant are both must sees, and I loved everything about the hotel, even though I was sad to leave. The staff were always welcoming and ready to help, and the rooms were cleaned each day. The food was good too. I only wish there had been a way to do our laundry ourselves. When the hotel door first opened, I was amazed by the beautiful interior and all the things you could buy inside.

I love this place. The decor is great, the rooms are super, the courtyard is lovely, and the food is absolutely wonderful.

The hotel has a lovely, welcoming spirit, thanks especially to the staff. The rooms are comfortable, and the place itself is a boutique gem full of art and cultural artifacts. I got to tour it after Tatev and her team hosted dinner for my large group of Armenian and international friends in the garden. It’s a beautiful oasis amid Yerevan’s bustle, and the meal was incredible. I’m so glad someone pointed me to Silk Road. Aprek!
