Vagary Hostel

The breakfasts were really tasty and included in the price, and the value for money was great. It's a good location, about a 10-minute walk from Republic Square. The rooms are clean, there's a large shared space, and the service was very nice and helpful. You can use a washing machine and dryer for a fee. Great atmosphere.

The location downtown was handy, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the price felt more than fair. The hostel was clean and very well organized, including the kitchen, toilets, and showers, and the staff were helpful. Each bed also had two power sockets. Still, I didn't feel comfortable with what seemed like a fake atmosphere and behavior. There were lots of noisy Asian guests, and I could hardly find any other Europeans. The place smelled awful too, especially around breakfast, like curry.

We've been looking after travelers for more than three years, and I hope we get to do it for many more. We remember most guests by name and remember their stories too. Most of the people who stay with us are kind, positive, humble, adventurous, and lovely. To all the backpackers, you're amazing. Families, couples, and solo travelers, you're wonderful too. Armenian hospitality comes from the heart here, with honest, caring service. I know because I'm part of the team. Thanks for making this journey such an exciting one with us. The people working here really made the stay for me. Many thanks to Lily, Zhanna, Sevan, Lucine! Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The location is very central, with the main sights walkable and a supermarket, shopping mall, and local market just two minutes away.
