Welcome Friends Hostel

Right in central Yerevan, this hostel is clean and very cheap. It can be hard to spot, so watch for the signs or ask at one of the nearby hotels. The facilities are nice, though they feel a bit mismatched and the place doesn’t have much atmosphere. Dorm rooms are large, and some guests don’t follow hostel etiquette. Clear quiet hours would help.

The beds are thoughtfully designed, there’s air conditioning, and the staff are helpful. It’s cheap and close to the main drag too. Still, it feels too clean and soulless, more like a hospital than a hostel. It’s an efficient place to process travelers, but not somewhere fun to meet people. You see individuals hunched over their screens, and every boot click echoes down the silent corridor. Lifeless.

The kitchen and bathroom were clean, the rooms were comfortable, and you could book an excursion. Prices were low, too. I visited with a group of friends and still have only good memories of the place. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and spoke at least three languages. I strongly recommend it. Thanks for being so cool!

The beds were comfortable, with curtains, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were great. My only gripe was the towel, which didn’t look very clean. Hope they sort that out. I’d stay here again.
