The pool bar and gym both have a great view over the city. The hotel feels modern, with lots of spacious, open areas, and the staff were professional and provided excellent service.

I stayed here several times, across different visits, and tried three kinds of rooms. Each was clean and perfectly adequate for a good night's sleep. The staff were excellent and really friendly. Breakfast had a great range of fruit and other food. Dinner was excellent too, especially the soup, which was the best I've tasted in many years.

The deck has nice views, and the location is handy, right by a mall and the waterfront walking path, with some very nice restaurants not far away. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was okay. The hotel is starting to feel a bit old. It was full when I visited, so I could only get a smoking room, and it smelled bad.

There's a small fridge in the room, but no iron or ironing board. The room could use a refresh, though I slept very well. The hotel is decent, if a little expensive, but I suppose that's normal in Luanda. The location is hard to beat: a small shopping mall, the seaside walking trail, and the historic fort are all an easy walk away. Worth considering.
