The owner is kind and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. There are several terraces with lovely views of the river and mountains, and the guesthouse is generally peaceful and welcoming. Some rooms open onto a veranda with tables and chairs. Just be aware that guests sometimes arrive during sleeping hours and chat at the tables right beside the window, which can wake you up.

I’ve been coming here for years to spend hours writing and working on the news. The inn’s internet reaches about 300 meters, so now I can work from the river, standing in it and sunbathing farther away. It’s a warm, complete, understated kind of magic. Laura Ortiz runs the place herself and makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. You’ll keep coming back ✨

The included breakfast is the best part, especially with that incredible mountain panorama. It’s a family-friendly, peaceful place with direct river access from the lodging and a great location and views. A must-stop for me every year, no question.
