The views over the town and volcanos were lovely, and the hotel itself was great. I especially liked the shops, particularly “Manos Antofagasteñas”. I'd happily come back and stay again.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the view is great, but it was really cold. The breakfast was bad: the bread was left out overnight and hard by morning, and although there was instant coffee and tea, there was no hot water. We also had to go looking for staff, and the place is quite expensive. I can't recommend it.

The view was spectacular, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed four days and liked the simple, delicious breakfast. They changed the towels and offered to clean the room each day, just like a hotel. The hot water took a while, but once it came through, the shower was amazing. The last night was awful, though. We were asleep before an early road departure when 10-12 men, including the owner, arrived and kept us awake from midnight until 3 a.m. We messaged the owner to say we wouldn't pay for that last night unless he contacted us. We're still waiting.

After a tiring excursion, you may want to rest in your room. This place makes that hard. The owner and his friends show up at any hour in SUVs and 4x4s, shouting and slamming doors. Even polite requests don't help, and the noise gets louder. The employees seem afraid of the owner and can't do anything, while complaints go unanswered. We left without paying for the last night and won't pay until the owner apologizes. Families and couples should avoid this place. It's terrible.

A quiet, cozy spot to unwind after long days of adventure. There's a wood-burning stove and a pleasant atmosphere, with service that fits the area. It's set at the top of the village, so the views are incredible.
