Cabañas del Sol

The area is lovely and the cabins look nice at first, but staying in cabin 2 was disappointing. The outdoor table and chairs were very dirty, and there were missing light bulbs outside, in the bathroom, and by the grill. The fire extinguisher was discharged, and the windows wouldn’t lock, so everything was left open when we went out. Inside, the toilet clogged on the first day and wasn’t fixed or unclogged. The Wi-Fi never worked, the air conditioning wouldn’t heat, and the heater in the dining and kitchen area, which is also used for sleeping, wasn’t enough. It gets VERY cold there in autumn and winter. One bed was missing blankets. The toaster was broken, the electric kettle was dirty inside, and the microwave smelled strongly and had stale cheddar cheese in it. The refrigerator didn’t cool very well, and the curtains fell down when moved. There were only just enough plates, cutlery, and glasses, so there wasn’t enough to have anyone over.

Evelyn is a sweetheart, and the cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and fully equipped. We were there for just one day, but it felt like we’d known her for years. Highly recommend it.

We stayed over the recent long weekend, and the cabin was spotless, comfortable, clean, and very well kept. Evelyn and her husband were so friendly, and their service and hospitality were excellent. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended.
