We found somewhere else to stay in the end. We'd booked and paid well in advance, and confirmed everything the night before, but then waited an hour outside the door in stifling heat for the entry code. They'd said it would arrive at 3 pm, but it never came. Nobody answered on WhatsApp or picked up the phone. Given the detailed house rules and the threat of a €50 fine for checking out after 11 am, the lack of response was absurd. Whether this was a scam or simply terrible service, I can't say.

Such a comfortable place. I love it.

The staff were lovely, and so was the place.

The location was the one good thing. Inside, the furniture was worn, towels were old and torn, and the room had leaks. The bathroom was so small you had to wash your hands outside it. The light in the room flickered for five minutes after you switched it on. The whole place felt terrifying. Absolutely awful.
