Onais Hotel

We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. The price felt fair, and the only tiny thing I’d add is shampoo and conditioner packets. Everything else was great. We also hadn’t noticed when booking that there’s a private parking lot. It was easy to get in and out, even with my partner’s very low car. From room 15, the view was spectacular. We didn’t hear noise from other apartments or anything that disturbed our sleep, and the mattresses and pillows were excellent. The hotel is right on the beach, just across the street, with flat, easy access and no dunes, which should help people with reduced mobility. The staff, including Diego, Gabi, Alejandra, the security guard, and everyone else, made us feel at home. They’re available around the clock, always friendly and smiling. Breakfast was excellent, with warm croissants brought straight from the oven when you sit down, plus lots of choices for different dietary needs. The hotel has everything you need.

The dining room has huge windows facing the beach, and you can buy food to eat there with table service. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel is close to both the San Bernardino pedestrian area and Mar de Ajó. It’s a welcoming, homey place right on the beach. The owners run it and, along with the staff, are always attentive, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, especially the warm croissants they serve every day. Everything was excellent, and I’d happily stay again.

The one issue we had was weak internet in the room. If that could be improved, guests would appreciate it, though we know it may be beyond the hotel’s control. Aside from that, the stay was excellent. We spent two nights there in January 2026. The location is hard to beat: cross the street and you’re at the beach entrance, less than 100 meters away. The street itself was quiet. A large kiosk just 20 meters away had everything for the beach, from umbrellas, lounge chairs, and games to sodas and toasted sandwiches. The hotel’s parking is next door, uncovered, spacious, and secure. The staff and owner were attentive and helpful throughout. The dining room was bright, clean, and pleasant. Our room was clean, attractive, and comfortable, with new beds and pillows that were incredibly comfortable. There’s no air conditioning, but the ceiling fan kept the room cool on hot days. The TV was large and new, and the shower had strong pressure with easy temperature adjustment. Breakfast was a delicious, well-stocked buffet that was constantly replenished, with freshly baked warm croissants too. The woman serving at the buffet was excellent. It’s a pleasure to find a three-star hotel with bright, new facilities and such a good location, where the owners clearly put in a lot of care. Highly recommended.

The owners are hands-on and attentive to every detail, and you can feel the care throughout the place. Our room was spotless, with new, comfortable beds and pillows, and everything had a delicate fresh scent. The bathroom and the rest of the facilities were in excellent condition. Breakfast was delicious and nicely served, with plenty of variety. As soon as we sat down, they brought warm croissants to the table with our coffee. Every part of the place felt warm and lovingly looked after. We’d recommend it and would gladly return.
