Breakfast was a struggle, just bread and coffee, and the dining room was a mess. Groups of women held events, singing and dancing until 4 in the morning, so we couldn't get any rest.

The staff are really friendly, and breakfast has a good range of options. It's also in a great spot in Villa Carlos Paz, a short walk from the chairlift and Cerro de la Cruz. The rooms are simple and clean, and the facilities are nice. The TVs only have cable, with no Netflix, Prime, or other apps, and the Wi-Fi could be better.

There isn't access to the pools anymore, and the rooms aren't worth the price. They're old and smell damp; the mattresses are so soft I could feel the springs. The bathroom is dated and the sink leaked. They could at least put an air freshener in the room.

We had a bad stay and, regrettably, this is NOT a 3 Star Hotel. My husband, Omar Alloggio, our son, and I went on a family vacation to the Hotel California. The front desk staff gave excellent service, but the room was a disaster. The bathroom door was badly chipped, hot water took over 20 minutes to come through, and the curtain separating the bathtub didn't keep water from soaking everything, including the toilet paper. Water also leaked out of the bathroom. At breakfast, we expected much better. When we tried to charge our drinks to the room, the front desk asked us to pay, as if we weren't going to, and said it was hotel policy. That felt quite outdated. One morning, my son wanted to save some croissants for later, so we left them wrapped in napkins, but they ended up covered in ants. The air conditioning dripped onto the nightstand and woke us during the night.

The rooms are standard and the hotel is basic, with nothing luxurious about it. It's okay if all you need is somewhere to sleep, though I'm not sure the price makes sense. I stayed last week and paid €70 for one night, and it honestly didn't feel worth it. Breakfast was incredibly basic, and reception was acceptable, but still...
