We first booked a night here midway through our Salta road trip, then returned a few days later because it suited us so well and was such good value. It’s quiet and comfortable, with a huge kitchen, a comfy bed, and good amenities. The place was super clean, and Eduardo was lovely and accommodating. When I noticed our booking hadn’t gone through properly, I messaged him to ask if they had a room that day. He replied quickly and said they could have it ready within a couple of hours.

It’s a little way from the city centre, but I enjoy walking, so that suited me. I felt at home, and the whole family made us feel welcome. I stayed in the newly refurbished part of the house, with really comfortable beds and bathrooms in great condition. Breakfast was simple, but the coffee was tasty. I also got to use their little “gym” and play the piano, which was a real highlight. Eduardo was super helpful arranging all kinds of things I needed.

The breakfast was okay, and there’s a pingpong table too. Hot and cold water is available all day. This is a family operation, and Eduardo speaks very good English and is interesting to talk to. The facilities are very good: great showers, a beautiful kitchen, excellent Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. There’s also a Carrefour supermarket nearby.

My dorm turned out to be a twin room, which was great. It was the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in, and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
